I mean dell latitude or precision 5000 series is also a good buy if refurbished. thinkpad p-series and t-series too, but zbooks are also good, i personally own a precision 7560, so i can reccomend it, but its kinda as heavy as a gaming laptop.

Used can be a bit hard to find but you can try looking into workstations like dell precision 7560 or 7670 and Hp Zbook fury 15 G8. they have a great cpu/gpu and would be awesome for basically everything other than battery and weight. Can get very heavy and arent very battery efficient because theyre

It's not a gaming laptop actually. I made an irresponsibly responsible financial decision to buy a Dell Precision 7560 back in May 2022, and mine comes with an A4000 Mobile. And yes it can play Doom: Eternal and VR titles. It's about as lightweight as an average user laptop and has... shockingly goo

i've bought several precision refurbs and the 5560 is solid but runs hot under sustained loads. for 4k davinci resolve, that xeon and a2000 will handle it but the fans get loud. your stress test plan is good - run occt for cpu and furmark for gpu for at least 30 mins each. also check the ssd health

Yeah, I think best option is thinkpad p15v gen 3, and dell precision 7560 cause even though they technically have less power than the circus this and that gaming laptops they do have much better power delivery and battery, secondly you can take this to work meetings and school without it sounding li

I couldnt really find any decent sellers but the Dell precision 7560 or 7670 are solid choices although finding them is gonna be the hardest part. Theres also Hp Zbook fury 15 g8 or fury g9 and the thinkpad p15 gen 2. These will work great for work related things and gaming too. Most offer an i7 11t
