Best (non Mac) laptop for design
My company provided computer is a Dell Precision 5560. I’ve had it for going on 5 years and it still works great. For reference I use Figma, Ae, Ps the most.

This is the MacBook Neo's competition btw 😭
ion disagree, i think that the dell precision used market is an absolute GOLD MINE i too got my precision 5560, i7-11800H, A2000, 32 gigs of ram, 512 gigs of storage for under 500 usd refurbished It's a great machine but the 4gb of vram is already a bottleneck in rendering, and the battery life is n

Dell makes some absolute garbadge
That's messed up, but honestly i've never had seriously bad hardware issues from dells premium lines Like, my old xps 15 9560 only gave out 2 weeks ago from the glue-ed on hinge breaking off and bending my mobo My current precision 5560 is built like a tank, though i've never owned an alienware...

Help buying Thinkpad for college
Hey, sorry for the delayed answer, I went on a short trip. I’ve been searching for good deals on latitudes, but I’ve only come across 1, and it’s the exact same price as the T14. It seems nice, but I dont know if it’s worth it over the T14, as I have to make a long drive to go get it. Other than tha

What laptop should i get for eng
If budget is a concern, I would recommend checking out Dell Refurbished - dellrefurbished.ca. They have really good deals on 2-3 year old laptops; for example, right now there's a Precision 5560 (a really nice laptop) with i7, 16gb ram, and a graphics card for $879 - plus, they have 20+% off sales e

What is Dells Equivalent to the Lenovo Thinkpad?
The closest equivalent to the P series is Dell Precision. In particular if you were specifically targeting Intel 11th gen, Precision 5560, 7560, and 7760. (I don't actually know anything about the Dell Precision 3000 series or if there's any specific reason to avoid them.) (The reason I did not reco

Laptop for Mechanical Engineering Student, Sub $2000
Dell Precisions are great for engineering (coming from an Engineer). They will easily last 5 years of uni and perform great the entire way. Take a look at the Dell Outlet Store to get the best deal. The better question is what the university recommends for hardware? This is a good option This is a g
