Can my older PC gaming rig run Hogwarts Legacy at 1440 alright?
I'm running it on a non-gaming PC. These are some of my specs on a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 (kinda crappy machine TBH): processor-12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H (2.30 GHz), installed ram-16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable).

<$1,200 laptop for Civil 3D?
I got a Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620 with a geforce rtx 3050 and have had no issues. I think it was within your price range. It's been discontinued but you can check the specs and compare. That said, I'm still in uni so maybe not the most demanding use-case.
