27 Plus 4K USB-C Monitor - S2725QC

I have a Dell S2725QC 27" 4K monitor and it looks nice and sharp on my Mac mini. I set it to 1400p scaling in settings. 5K is ideal but it's expensive and not worth it to me when 4K looks 95% as good to me.

If you really want a clean setup with as few cables as possible, get a monitor that has USB-C. One cable will power your laptop, send display signal to the monitor, and usually there's an integrated USB hub with 2-4 ports, too. Diehard dell customer here. I got the dell S2725QC 27"and i totally love it. Awesome 4k monitor with great speakers! I am using them for a native dual monitor setup with my macBook pro and they're perfect.
