Love this machine

I would still go ahead with it if I were you. Unless you are VERY picky with your coffee taste and output you likely won't have an issue. I had been weighing my input and output and that's why I noticed the issues. It would have been fine for 95% of people. Edit: I went with a DeLonghi Magnifica Plu

Starbucks CEO defends $9 coffee says ‘it’s not a $10 coffee and you get a premium experience’

I got myself a DeLonghi Magnifica Plus, Lavazza Super Crema beans and Monin Madagascar vanilla syrup. My lattes taste exactly like Starbucks but are a fraction of the price. My only complaint is that my machine doesn't quite get the water as hot as I'd like so I pre-warm the mugs with boiling water.

Super/automatic options for older people that matches semi auto/manual cup quality? [no set budget, deciding]

Best Superautomatic De'Longhi Magnifica Plus doses at 17-18 gm, uses none pressurized brew group, true espresso capable grinder, can actually be dialed in to 20-25 sec. Best espresso from a consumer super auto when dialed in. Comes closest to semi auto. Here is a comparison with the older, slightly

Super/automatic options for older people that matches semi auto/manual cup quality? [no set budget, deciding]

I have compared shots from my Rancilio Sylvia and Baratza Vario setup to my Magnifica Plus. The Sylvia being a semi auto still produces slightly more intense shots but not by much. I only drag it out now for very light roast. I have been drinking espresso since the 80s when steam machines were more

DeLonghi Dedica Stalled in Descale Mode & Overheating - Help! (Video Attached)

I have had my Magnifica Plus for five months. It has performed perfectly and I love the coffee. It called for a descale and I followed the manual instructions and used the DeLonghi descaling product. Like the original poster reported, it got stuck in the descaling mode and just kept pumping water an

Dekaf coffee

Dekaf Papua New Guinea is the best decaf I've ever had. Smooth, chocolatey, and fruity finish. Perfect espresso for my DeLonghi Magnifica Plus. Great latte!

What ‘treat’ would you spend €500 on?

I bought a De Longhi magnifica plus coffee machine last week and its worth every cent . Choice of about 9 different types of coffees. Like haven't a personal batista at home .

Looking for a super automatic which makes a great 8 ounce cup of coffee

Yes, the DeLonghi Magnifica Plus. It is a very nice machine and can grind a higher dose than other superautomatics for a really good coffee crema. Highly recommended. It is a well made machine. Maintenance is easy. And DeLonghi’s are sturdy and long lasting. Tom’s Coffee Corner has a good video revi

Worth upgrading to Sage Barista Pro?

The new higher end DeLonghi machines like the Magnifica Plus can actually get very close to a semi-automatic machine. Not quite as good but certainly close enough. Here's a comparison with the Dinamica Plus. https://youtu.be/wL3dPH2HrUw?si=S2EfL2aOcTzfeHeg
