Bambino Plus disappointment
In the US Dedica is typically $200-250 and Bambino is $250-300…Bambino Plus more like $400-500 for the auto steaming and 3-way solenoid, which are nice upgrades but don’t effect the quality of the drink. Funnily enough the De’Longhi ECP (a cheaper machine) is closer to being a true upgrade since it

Bester Espresso Kiels?

Is the Agaro coffe machine any good? Give me other recommendations if you have any
1000s of post in this group regarding this query. A good google search can land you in those discussions. No agaro. This group generally starts with de longhi dedica. So start there. It's an extremely reliable brand. Check YouTube review by international bloggers.

Have I depressurized my basket?
I actually did this with my old De’Longhi dedica baskets. Driller a big ol’ hole right through the bottom layer. Worked just fine but eventually just bough a $15basket from Amazon.

Starting my home barista journey. is this combo a good pick
After browsing this sub and few others I took the leap with DeLonghi Dedica from Amazon and 1Zpresso Q-air from Fix coffee. I love it so far but the portafilter basket gets stuck to the machine almost everytime I try to remove it after pulling a shot.

Consume grade machines.
Stock to stock, absolutely. The pressurized filter of the dedica kills a lot of the flavor and all of the crema (pressurized filters give foam, not crema). However, if you upgrade the dedica to a good unpressurized filter it can punch way above its weight if you don't brew demanding light roasts tha

I analyzed +4,000 r/espresso set-up flairs. The median setup costs $2.8k, the Bambino reigns supreme, and people are running a $4,000 grinder with a $300 machine. Here is the data.
This is amazing, very interesting to see the data like this! I tried to add my setup in the tool, but it seems like the De Longhi Dedica EC685 is not in there. It's a highly popular machine for beginners, so maybe a good one to add :)

Which one is better for a beginner?
Let me rephrase....never Agaro in this case or to buy any product that needs a bit serious innovation. You are solely dependent on what their chinese manufacturer sends. From a basic frother to an electric kettle you get subpar products. Instacuppa is a better brand. Costlier but better quality sent

Has anyone tried this good looking portafilter from MUVNA for Dedica EC685?
Nope, I switched to bottomless a few months after I bought my dedica, it was brand new and I went through several aftermarket portafilters. Though it might be a seal defect or cutting costs on De'Longhi part.
