I'd say get the Dedica Duo (EC890) instead. When I bought this machine, Delonghi had the older EC685 Dedica, which was also an established product in it's segment but had it's own issues, particularly the fat steam wand.The Ariete 1381 is a good machine, but for 3000 more, you get the service networ

EC685 vs EC890 — which actually better? + Bottomless portafilter recs
It seems the EC890 is supposed to be the better one of the two, mainly I think coz of its steam wand and that its got lesser time lag between the espresso hot water and steam water availability or something PLUS it can do cold brews also.
