Stuck between the B&W Px8s2 and Dali IO-8

I own both PX8s2 and the Dali IO-8. I’ve been using them for about three months. I also used the original PX8 for about a month and returned after I got PX8s2. It’s hard to say definitively which one is the best. If asked which one of these three I would personally keep, I might choose the Dali IO-8

HDB 630 vs Bathys OG (vs PX8 S2)

I have the original PX8. Have enjoyed them for 2 years but now they are going to my daughter. I tried the PX8 S2, the HDB 630, the P100 SE, the Dali IO-8, the Dali IO-12, and the Noble Fokus Apollo. I didn't try the Bathys or Bathys MG. I owned the OG and sold them. They never clamped tight enough t

Stuck between the B&W Px8s2 and Dali IO-8

I was about to get the PX8s2, but ended up getting the IO-8 after trying both for some time. Main reason is that the IO-8 just sounded better to me. To my ears they have a wider soundstage, better details, especially in the mid-range and treble, and a more neutral bass, while still being engaging. T

Stuck between the B&W Px8s2 and Dali IO-8

Most things headphone related are so subjective it's hard to tell someone which is the better headphone, but for me personally the PX8 S2 is a no-brainer. It has better ANC and Transparency, better Call quality, and to me has better looks and sound quality. I wasn't wowed by the IO-8 and honestly I

Today I’ve returned my B&W PX8 S2’s

Agreed. In a straightforward comparison, the ANC comes in behind Sony and Bose. This isn't subjective: it's just a fact. Bose trashed the Sony too on that score. I'm looking at all of the comments in this thread about treble, which is something that I hadn't factored in previously, and being concern

The RTINGS review of the HDB 630 is finally out!

Make that one then (and if you care to look around, you’ll find plenty of other user reviews online from people who genuinely love theirs). I’m not even talking about regular reviews here. The 630 is much better than the M4 for me, and I own both. You’re constantly comparing them to “the competition

Headphones

They are good and perhaps best in terms of balance between features such as anc, voice calls, spatial audio etc. but sound quality wise they're very far from best. There's many better sounding headphones, such as Focal Bathys, Dali IO-8 or IO-12 (just noticed the Dali's are crazy expensive in the US

Bought myself px8s2 last week for my bday bought my wife the px7s2e she hates them

Don't let her anywhere near the Dali IO-12! Get some IO-8, and clip some IO-12 leather pads on them. The difference would be indistinguishable apart from a side-by-side, but great enough over the cheaper phones to give a sound upgrade, while still saving hundreds!

Stuck between the B&W Px8s2 and Dali IO-8

I have also tired both and even though the Dali IO-8 sounds balance and all. I kinda didn't like how it was build and the bass up features sounded so muddy. Another thing was the when doing calls I could hear myself talk trough the micronephone (no option to turn that off). So I wouldn't recommend t
