Testing K1 in 2026
In some ways my K1C works better than my K2 Plus. I got it refurb on Creality Ebay and it was 100% worth the price.

Goodbye K1C, welcome H2D!
So i have the bambulab A1 and the creality k2 plus the bambu is very easy to use and you dont have to think about much but my k2 plus will hammer stuff out fast and clean! I don't use their app for anything other then checking the camera for a print i sent from my pc while I'm out. Also I just use m

U1
I have a Creality k2 plus with almost 4000 hours on it. I'd bin it tomorrow if snapmaker made a bigger version of the U1. My first U1 has 1700hrs and second has 200hrs. Zero issues. Have been absolute workhorses and super reliable in my experience.

3d printer enthusiasts of Perth. Seeking recommendations for 3d printing services in Perth for printing gpu shrouds. Alternatively recommend a place to learn to build/print myself.
I've also decided I wouldn't mind looking for a local printer farm coz I have a 3D printer and want a heap of one product that I could print, but it will just take forever. A farm with 20 printers, I'd only need like 4-6 hours of their time. For me, that would take months. But don't discount getting

Does a modified U1 still make sense for my use case?
Have you considered a Creality K2 Plus or K2 Pro? They are below your $1500 budget and are very capable printers.

I finished 3d printing my chest rig!
I have a few different 3-D printers. My favorite of the ones I own is the Qidi Tech X-Max 3. The Creality K2 Plus is runner up. For large stuff like full chest armor get something like an Elegoo Neptune 4 Max(My EN4Max’s are not my best printers but they are my workhorses). The first two are better

Snapmaker U1 (vs. Bambu P1S) two months later
I own a P1S and I wouldn’t say that at all. It’s good, but it has its limitations like any other machine out there. The best machine is the one that meets your needs while representing good value. Depending on what your needs are, this can vary widely. I use mostly engineering filaments, and print f

Best beginner 3D printer for cosplay props?
Definitely better to buy a larger format printer upfront. Currently the largest good without being crazy expensive printer for cosplay is the Creality K2 Plus. I have owned multiple creality, bambu, snapmaker, and artillery printers. If you want to print knicknacks or flexis get a bambu. But for cos

Bambu Lab 3D printers contain a kill switch. After upgrading the 3D printer to a higher model, you need remote activation of the new board
The creality k2 series? Not to mention the k2 plus has a bigger bed, similar speeds and just as good of print quality Edit:and a higher nozzle temp so you can actually print materials like ppa and not have horrible layer adhesion
