Say what you will about Prusa, but my Mini+ that is nearly 6 years old and still receives firmware updates including input shaping shows the long term value. Bambu started in 2022, I think, so it still has to prove itself long term. Not saying it isn't any good. If I wanted reliability today VS my C

I just found out that you can not root the k1c and k1 max 2025 versions. Sort of gone off of Creality because of that

I wish they would just fix all the current printers and stop with all these new releases. This ia just carbon copy of the A1 under as new creality name, and they use customers as beta testers. I have a K1 , K1 max that i have to tinker with to make work and a Ender 3 v3 Se that was my kids xmas gift

After digging a bit, i gotta be honest - I'm not super hopeful. The fact they put "K1 series 2025 models (such as: K1 C 2025 & K1 Max 2025) do not support Root access" Specifically on their website pretty heavily implies that root access isn't coming. And you're right - the comparatively open softwa

I just went through all these same issues with my k1 max upgrade. So many small changes needed from ptfe tube, orca slicer printer codes, new cfs extruder and cut module, and cfs feeder/splicer jamming and feeding wrong. Finally still working 80% of the time with Minor ghost feeding and retracting w

Coming out a a Creality k1 max I picked up an a1 mini from a friend as I wanted to see if it was as good as people make them out to be. Yep. I have a P2S and it’s a great machine. To be fair I also have a Core One which has been great as well. The amount of hours I wasted on troubleshooting that Cre

My K1Max drilled a square in my plate at the start of a gridfiinty bin print. Luckily I stopped it doing what happened to yours. Also under warranty. Last I heard from Creality was they will replace the "strain gauge and adjustment plate". Not the build plate though as it is older than 3 months and

That doesn’t look bad at all, but these beds warp differently depending on the temperature. Because of this, the factory bed leveling doesn’t work properly. If you hven’t already, root the printer and you can level the bed at the temperatures you are actually printing, use kamp and you shouldn’t hav

Qidi seems like they're still figuring things out, especially design wise. Due to my experiences with Creality (12 heavily modified Ender 3s + K1 Max), and watching them rush printers to the market to seem like they can compete with Bambu.... It would take something really special for me to ever eve

You cant compare these two, they are in vastly different categories and the k1 is very manual in comparison. U see people here spending a week leveling the bed. Note that I am of the new millennium, If I can recommend a machine that cooks for you and feeds you I will do so, I dont see the point in y
