Say what you will about Prusa, but my Mini+ that is nearly 6 years old and still receives firmware updates including input shaping shows the long term value. Bambu started in 2022, I think, so it still has to prove itself long term. Not saying it isn't any good. If I wanted reliability today VS my C

My K1Max drilled a square in my plate at the start of a gridfiinty bin print. Luckily I stopped it doing what happened to yours. Also under warranty. Last I heard from Creality was they will replace the "strain gauge and adjustment plate". Not the build plate though as it is older than 3 months and

You cant compare these two, they are in vastly different categories and the k1 is very manual in comparison. U see people here spending a week leveling the bed. Note that I am of the new millennium, If I can recommend a machine that cooks for you and feeds you I will do so, I dont see the point in y

Done for the night, backported mainline sweeper code, kalico quality of life adjustments.... and if you know what your looking at in the console, you know lol had to create a separate .py to house the smooth shapers from bleeding edge, a separate worker thread to keep them and reduce the resolution

This happened to me too. I started a print, then canceled the print before it finished calibrating. Made a minor change and sent the new job to print and it damaged my plate exactly as in OP's photo. Thought it was a random failure and stopped using the printer until I got a replacement plate. Happe

I’m glad I didn’t hold out for the CFS-C for my 2nd printer and just bought a 2nd CFS v1 with extruder upgrade kit. What’s clear is that software and firmware isn’t a strong point. It took some effort to get the CFS working with OrcaSlicer and playing with KAMPS nicely. If you’re prepared to do the

Found this thread via google I know it’s a bit older. I got a K1 max end of last year in October 25 used for 450€ included the sunlu S4 dryer. I got a lot of hussle with it especially with the X axis vibrations. At the moment it runs I changed belts, extruder and nozzle. The counter said 330hr but I

Ask this on a Bambu sub and you are gonna get completely different answers. I think creality ain’t a terrible first printer because there is always something wrong and something that needs fixin. I had a ender 3 then a K1 which I had so many problems with hotend extruder mainboard it all broke. Then

Interesting. The K1Max allegedly has 8GB memory so I doubt it's a size issue of "running out of memory". I wonder if it was an issue with retracting after the layer and then failing to extrude, but that would be a more obvious problem. "Software glitch" seems to be the logical explanation. I have ha
