Qidi seems like they're still figuring things out, especially design wise. If you don’t need the 400mm build area, I’d probably go with the K1Max. Enclosed, wider availability of aftermarket parts. I picked up an E5M for $480 and don’t regret it. Been adapting the 8 color Ender 3 V3 CoPrint kit from Creality’s website for it. It’s been a fun project.

If this was a refurbished unit from Creality, give it a real good once over checking for loose screws and parts that may be damaged. Whoever they have working on the printers to "refurbish" them have no clue on what they are doing. I purchased 3 K1 MAX printers and all 3 had missing screws or broken
