I currently have two Creality machines (K1 Max, Ender-5 Max). They both work well now, but they did require some modification to overcome design flaws.

That sounds more like a profile or slicer setting issue than the printer itself. The Creality Ender 5 Max is usually capable of much more balanced speeds. I’d double check wall speed and minimum layer time settings. Creality machines tend to perform really well once the profile is set correctly.

I had a similar problem with the Ender 5 Max. Creality replaced everything I showed was damaged with no issues. I have had a couple of other issues that seem to have a common cause on the printer.
