If you're a beginner I wouldn't recommend resin because it can be harmful to your health without proper PPE and you'll need multiple machines to dry and cure the models. Although if you're adamant on super detailed models like miniatures for Warhammer for example, resin is the way. FDM on the other

I currently have two Creality machines (K1 Max, Ender-5 Max). They both work well now, but they did require some modification to overcome design flaws.

That sounds more like a profile or slicer setting issue than the printer itself. The Creality Ender 5 Max is usually capable of much more balanced speeds. I’d double check wall speed and minimum layer time settings. Creality machines tend to perform really well once the profile is set correctly.

I am a creality fan person. I have 6 of their printers. 2 HIs, 2 k2 pluses, and 2 ender 5 maxes. I enjoy their printers.

I havent ran into many issues with mine the nozzle replacement is super easy. If you have to take apart the printhead its quite fast. If you buy the combo you get multi colour printing. I love mine right now amd the support for anycubic printers is amazing. I do have some creality printers as well a
