What needs to be done to use Ender 3v2 stably.

My Ender 3v2 has been working pretty flawlessly and consistent over the last 3 years I had it. Upgrades I made directly out of the box: Auto Bed Leveling usingthe CR Touch upgrade from Creality replaced the bed leveling springs with silicone washers (also from Creality) replaced the plastic filament

Firmware "update", but seemingly have a LOT of useful settings?

Try the Mricsoc firmware, i use it since a few years. Get an autolevelprobe, install it, chnage the software to mriscoc, calibrate the printer and thats it. You can use the formware without installing an autolevelprobe. You can use a cheap chinese one or the creality one. The standardbed of the ende

Upgrade Ender 3 reviews and questions

so. First off, that's a base Ender 3, the Y axis gives it away. So it'll never be a pro max. but let's discuss your other parts. the motherboard (BIGTREETECH BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0) Solid Choice over the stock creality board if you want to push speed/acceleration, not to mention cost value compared to

Ender 3 V3 SE stops extruding at almost the exact same layer every time

EDIT — SOLVED:I flashed my Ender 3 V3 SE back to the stock Creality firmware and the problem is gone. The same print that repeatedly stopped extruding at around the same point now prints normally. Looks like the issue was related to the Navaismo firmware, not the filament, nozzle, or G-code. Hopeful

I’m intimidated by software and upgrades.

After you install the CRtouch sensor, you want to remove the Z limit switch completely. Disconnect it from the frame of the printer and disconnect the wires from the mainboard. The next thing you need to do is update the firmware to a version that supports your mainboard with a CRtouch added. In the

Found an Ender 3 pro on the curb and am starting to learn how to 3D print. Any tips I need to know?

That's both a bad joke and not true. A properly assembled ender3 will spit out good prints. Assemble iti once like 3dprintedtombofhorrors does with his ender3V2. Start printing. Mine had yellow bedsprings for a rock solid level (good for 3 month without touching), a bimetal heatbreak and a PEI sheet

I just unboxed a brand new CR-10 Mini in 2026 - advice very welcome!

Also you can go 4.2.7 creality board but coming from experience with both 4.2.7 in a ender 3 pro and the skr mini in the cr10 the skr mini is a better choice but I do have an extra 4.2.7 that id part with for $20 plus shipping but in all honesty the extra money for the skr is worth it.

Upgrades Upgrades

I would do those upgrades in this order: Mercury one corexy and can bus printhead. Then when everything is set up I would MMU and then do electronics elnclousure and then full enclousure with filters. I am doing also ender 5 pro with mercury 1.1 and CR-10 bed triple Z, dual MCU, mantis toolhead with

Ender 3 V1 motherboard

Don't upgrade motherboard, waste of money. 4.2.2 motherboard is already 32 bit, its just fine. You just need to flash the firmware version for your motherboard from Creality Cloud that is for the CR-Touch; the factory version of the firmware probably is not for the CR-Touch, Why do you want to upgra
