What needs to be done to use Ender 3v2 stably.
My Ender 3v2 has been working pretty flawlessly and consistent over the last 3 years I had it. Upgrades I made directly out of the box: Auto Bed Leveling usingthe CR Touch upgrade from Creality replaced the bed leveling springs with silicone washers (also from Creality) replaced the plastic filament

People making fun of bambu owners
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the Creality Enders 3V2. The firmware is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the features will go over a typical Bambu owner's head. There's also the Enders nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into

What are the must-haves upgrades for the Ender 3?
First step is to look up the pricing of a Bambu Lab A1 in your local currency. IMO, the target cost should be 50% of that or less (preferably much less). It's not 2019 any more and we're not competing against wildly overpriced Prusa MK3's. The amount of printer and ecosystem $300 buys these days is

Firmware "update", but seemingly have a LOT of useful settings?
Try the Mricsoc firmware, i use it since a few years. Get an autolevelprobe, install it, chnage the software to mriscoc, calibrate the printer and thats it. You can use the formware without installing an autolevelprobe. You can use a cheap chinese one or the creality one. The standardbed of the ende

Is it even worth it anymore?
Firmware has come a very long way in the years since Creality abandoned these machines. It's worth loading up something modern like MRiscoC ( https://github.com/mriscoc/Ender3V2S1 ), cranking out a modern slicer like Orca Slicer and running through Ellis' Calibration Guide ( https://ellis3dp.com/Pri

New to 3d printing with Ender3 V2
Check the extruder - stock E3v2's came with a plastic unit that was prone to cracking at the hinge where it's hard to spot. There are metal clones of the stock extruder but it's a design from the dawn of time and there are better options that don't cost much in the modern world. Also check the tip o

Is it worth trying to fix an old Ender 3?
Is it worth trying to fix an old Ender 3? That is the $300 currency unit question. IMO it's worth it if you want to deep dive into the nitty gritty of printing like it's 1899 and learn enough that DIYing a Voron or Ratrig (or whatever) is not a problem. If you just want to print stuff and learn the

Upgrade Ender 3 reviews and questions
so. First off, that's a base Ender 3, the Y axis gives it away. So it'll never be a pro max. but let's discuss your other parts. the motherboard (BIGTREETECH BTT SKR Mini E3 V3.0) Solid Choice over the stock creality board if you want to push speed/acceleration, not to mention cost value compared to

What needs to be done to use Ender 3v2 stably.
u/Malow is right - time and money can get these things running quite well, even by modern standards. First step is to look up the pricing of a Bambu Lab A1 in your local currency. IMO, the target cost should be 50% of that or less (preferably much less). It's not 2019 any more and we're not competin

Ender 3 V3 SE stops extruding at almost the exact same layer every time
EDIT — SOLVED:I flashed my Ender 3 V3 SE back to the stock Creality firmware and the problem is gone. The same print that repeatedly stopped extruding at around the same point now prints normally. Looks like the issue was related to the Navaismo firmware, not the filament, nozzle, or G-code. Hopeful
