Affordable air purifiers

Air Doctor is overpriced. Grab a Levoit Vital 200S-P or Coway AP-1512HH — both under $200, True HEPA, quiet, filters are easy to find. For even cheaper, Levoit Core 300 ($100) works fine for a bedroom. Skip the fancy stuff. True HEPA + carbon is all you need. Here's my list of budget picks here, if

Best Air purifier for my situation?

We've bought several Coway AP-1512HH HEPA filters for ourselves and family members. They're great for bedrooms. (The price online goes up and down, but you can often get one for $150 or so on Amazon.)

My allergies have been acting up this month with the season changing. Do pet-specific air purifiers actually help?

The "pet-specific" stuff is mostly marketing. What actually matters is True HEPA + washable pre-filter so fur doesn't clog it up. The one with the flat top for cats is the Levoit Vital 200S-P, works great, quiet, under $200. Coway AP-1512HH is another solid pick. Here's a list I put together if you

Good indoor air purifier for dealing with the wildfire smoke?

Yeah, wildfire smoke is rough. The main thing is True HEPA - that's what actually catches the tiny smoke particles. I've been using the Levoit Vital 200S-P. It's got a smoke CADR of 250, auto mode, and sleep mode is super quiet (24dB). Around $180. Coway AP-1512HH is also a classic - people have bee

Trying to find the best air purifier on a budget

For 112 sq ft on a $120 budget, you don't need anything fancy. Check out the Levoit Core 200S. CADR of 110 CFM, True HEPA filter that catches 99.97% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns, and it's super quiet (26 dB on low) . Covers rooms up to 183 sq ft, so perfect for your space. Replacement f

Dreame AirPursue "PM10" review (vs. Dyson Big+Quiet BP04)

Except that the Dyson does only ONE thing well - move air. The sensor is cheap, the filter is low quality, and it’s insanely expensive. A Coway 250 cleans air many times as well, looks retro stylish, and costs $250. A Coway 450 moves as much air as a Dyson, cleans 10x as well, and costs under $500.

You're probably getting this a lot, but: recommendation for a bedroom air filter focusing on allergies?

Avoid the Levoit Core 300 like the plague. Get a Coway Airmega ap-1512hh and be done with it.

MJ smoke and migraines

Two questions come to mind: Could you be allergic to MJ? Sounds like that’s a strong possibility. I know several people who can’t be around the smoke or it induces vomiting. Coway air purifier is really good for indoor cooking fumes, it’s affordable and portable. Plenty of portable hepa filters on t

Best Air purifier for my situation?

For a small bedroom with asthma and wanting to avoid getting sick, grab the Levoit Vital 200S-P or Coway AP-1512HH. Both have True HEPA (catches 99.97% of particles), quiet sleep modes, and won't break the bank. A CR box works too, great for budget, super high CADR, but can be loud. Just run it 24/7
