Blue air has (safe/low levels) of ozone but you can never toggle it off on thier units. Winix usually has an ionizer that can be toggled on/off, although I think it reverts back to "on" every time you turn it on/off. Coway some have ionizers, but make sure that it either doesn't or can toggle on/off
