Corsair PSU Cable 12VHPWR after almost 3 years usage

Yesterday was the day that I started rebuilding my PC, new case (Fame 4000D RS ARGB), cooler (Nautilus 360 RS ARGB) and replacing my RTX 4090 with a RTX 5090.

When I took the 12VHPWR off the GPU, I was shocked to see that it had started to melt.

I had used this cable with the RTX 4090 and the RM85

A streaming/editing , gaming pc with around 2500 usd budget , max being 3k

i would avoid asrock with the 9800x3d right now, theyve been having an abnormal amount of dead cpus. although this is probably the shittiest board imaginable, it probably doesnt have the power delivery capable to fry a cpu. id try and get an eagle atleast or something with 2x4+2+2 or higher type shi

Building a PC before prices get any higher, hoping for feedback

A few thoughts: For gaming, there’s no benefit to paying more for an X870 chipset over B850. You’re paying for extra data lanes that have no use in gaming. Both boards have PCIe 5 to the first x16 slot, so there’s your possible future use. If you’re gaming, no point to an HDD unless you’re playing g

Should I pull the trigger? On clearance in store for $1700

Congrats! Like others said, swap the PSU with a Corsair Rm850x. Best PSU for the money. I’d personally also buy a 1TB SN850X SSD to install Windows and my most competitive games. Make current SSD as secondary. Enjoy!

Build gegen-check auf no-go's
