Sell me on Coros

I just replaced my Fenix 6 with a pace pro. For context I run 40 to 50 miles per week, and cycle 100 to 200 miles per week. I go to the gym 3 days a week. I still use a garmin edge bike computer and bring the data into Coros with RunGap. Initial (2 weeks) thoughts: Off the bat, Garmin is better at e

Considering switching over from Garmin

I briefly swapped from a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro to a Coros Pace Pro. However, I've returned the Coros as it just didn't meet my training needs. My frustrations with it were: Customisation of data screens is limited. For example, if you are running intervals, there is no option to include a "time remaini

Should I upgrade to Pace Pro?

If maps is a key point then I dont think you can get maps like the pace pro for the same cost without looking at other brands like Sunto so thats probably a big win for the Coros, battery life is similar in my experience. MIPs on the 255 means I have found it slightly better but you can't compare MI

AW vs Garmin vs Coros

I moved from a 955 to a Coros Pace Pro. I'm missing the custom alerts on my runs (eat, drink etc) and the pacer pro you could add the route so it takes the elevation profile in consideration for the splits.

Your Most Inexplicable and Maddening Coros Thing?

Oh yeah. You can’t pause in the map data field. (Not on Pace Pro anyway) You have to get out of that field and then you can pause. Small thing, but super annoying cause I use my Coros almost exclusively for the map.

COROS > Garmin

First fitness watch I owned was a first gen Amazfit Active, because I couldn't afford anything else. Got it for $80 on Amazon. Had some money burning a hole in my pocket and wanted a real fitness watch that was more reliably accurate and capable of all the training I wanted to do. Picked up a Coros

Why did so many people can't 100% breakup with Garmins?

I liked the Pace Pro I had for a year but switched back to Garmin for NPE Runn (treadmill sensor) support. Coros said they were working on compatibility before I even bought the watch but I gave up waiting.

Saved Route Distance Bug??

Thanks! To be clear, I did not create or plan the route. This is just a ~5K walk I do with a decent hill. After walking it a few times I decided to save it so I could test how my Coros Pace Pro showed routes. Totally surprised that saving the route gave a significantly different distance answer (7%

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro vs Non-Pro — Possible RAM / Hardware Difference?

I agree with you regarding Coros Pace Pro, as I have one too. Also, the Suunto Vertical, but with Garmin, I can save multiple POIs around the city or location I intend to explore; this is where Garmin shines, only from the watch. You can see them all, with a larger number of icons you can choose for

COROS Discussion Thread: Product Feedback

I thought I'd provide some feedback on the Coros Dura. My wife bought me one for my birthday since both of my sons have both Dura bike computers and Coros watches. She also bought me a Coros Pace Pro but that wasn't really what I was looking for. I was really hopeful that the Dura would be a solid r
