Has anyone switched back to Garmin?
I went from a Pace Pro to a Forerunner 970 and back. Garmin is such a mess in case of UX on both App and Website. I can not understand how a Company that big is not able to make a proper software for it’s customers. I’m mean seriously? For me it was the opposite with updating threshold with Garmin.

Amazfit for serious sports training
Amazfit hardware is fantastic. For reference, in the last couple of years I’ve owned and trained with the following (I’m not rich or crazy, but I got really used to having a bunch of devices during grad school when my research called for it). Amazfit T-Rex 3 Amazfit Balance 2 Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro App

Garmin user thinking about Coros…
I moved from garmin forerunner 265s to coros pace pro last Sunday. Best choice ever. The app is way more clear. Coros Workout builder... No comparison with the garmin one. The web app training hub is amazing. It has almost all the information of workouts that you can find within training peaks. Work

Coros Pace 4 x Garmin FR 165
Honestly, garmin’s bottom tier watches at over priced for what you get in comparison to Coros.. I had a pace 3 and pace pro, great watches and do basically the core everything you for running and basic strength training.. however I got a Garmin enduro 3 and now that I’m using Garmin it does have a b

Software Roadmap 2025/26
Having worked in various roles in the software development world, software road maps are not generally shared with the public. Software roadmaps change all the time and will leave you disappointed more than they will make you excited and expecting, so better not to share. Sometimes hints are given t

I don’t understand Coros’ watch lineup/positioning
At least in my mind, the Coros release cycle is a lot less lockstep than Garmin's. This leads to leapfrogging of the watch lineup, where often the premium models are more outdated than the budget models. It might have higher build quality and tier of materials, but be behind in processor, etc. One t

Still loving my Apex 4
For me they are pretty similar in terms of data relating to sport, health, sleep etc. The main differences are things like sleep score, body battery, some other things like pace pro, flashlight built into the watch. However, the training metrics and analysis is better for me on Coros, the simplicity

Pace Pro
I switched from Garmin to coros and specifically to the pace pro and am happy. For battery life and ease of use with a cleaner/simpler app experience/interface it wins big time. Again will depend on your use, but as primarily just a runner who also uses it to track gym workouts, hikes, and walks it’

Convince me not to return my Pace 3 for a Forerunner 165
Funny. I just came from Garmin and saw the light (i.e. coros, I have the pace pro). I was thinking about posting something that may help others. But here’s what I’ve seen, I like coros better. App is FAR SUPERIOR. Easy to understand, organized, everything you need, nothing you don’t. Customization i
