Sell me on Coros

I just replaced my Fenix 6 with a pace pro. For context I run 40 to 50 miles per week, and cycle 100 to 200 miles per week. I go to the gym 3 days a week. I still use a garmin edge bike computer and bring the data into Coros with RunGap. Initial (2 weeks) thoughts: Off the bat, Garmin is better at e

Switched from Garmin to Coros as a bodybuilder/runner. Here’s why I returned it after a week.

Don’t. It’s 100% cardio based and lifting is anaerobic. It’s also 10 to 20% accurate on the generous side. I cycle a lot with a mechanical power meter. Which is 95% accurate for calorie expenditure. Using both my Garmin bike computer connected to the power meter and my Pace Pro guesstimating, the nu

MIPs on the 255 means I have found it slightly better but you can't compare MI

From Forerunner 955 to Pace

Honestly, having bounced between COROS and Garmin… I suggest looking for Garmin certified refurbs. They look like new and have a full warranty with Garmin.I just picked up an Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire for $380 USD delivered! Why COROS didn’t work for me: After a a few weeks I found small annoyances t

Your Most Inexplicable and Maddening Coros Thing?

Oh yeah. You can’t pause in the map data field. (Not on Pace Pro anyway) You have to get out of that field and then you can pause. Small thing, but super annoying cause I use my Coros almost exclusively for the map.
