Runners should already check Coros instead of Amazfit

TRex is also all plastic, thin metal on top is cosmetic only. I didn't mention the T-Rex, but the $1100 Fenix 8 is also steel or titanium sandwiched between a polycarbonate body. 1.2 screen is better than 1.5 screen if they show the same information You can display more information comfortably on a

Garmin or Coros?

As someone who has had all 3 (Apple Watch Ultra 3, Coros Pace Pro, Garmin Forerunner 970), I am a big fan of the Garmin. I could see myself going back to Coros if they came out with an AMOLED version of the Apex 4, but for now I'm really liking the Garmin and how much more customizable it is compare

DC Rainmaker - Coros Apex 4 review

My beef here and it was expected, is that it's essentially a Nomad, dressed up. You have the microphone\speaker which is a novelty. You have the sapphire display and metal case - which are literally for treks where you are in foliage or scrambling - to that point, even the guide on our gorilla trek

Apex 4 Vs Pace Pro

I think the Pace Pro has become a sort of missing link within Coros' current lineup. It's the only one that doesn't feature the third button and the microphone. It even has worse battery life than its younger sibling, the Pace 4. I suspect that version 2, besides catching up on features, will have a

Cheetah 2 Pro or Coros Pace 4?

Yep agreed. Most people don’t use HR straps however so that’s why I mentioned it. Personally I upload my Amazfit workouts to Strava which is enough for me. I had a Pace Pro last year and wasn’t a big fan of the watch build or the Coros UX so ended up returning it. Good luck.

Watch Bands and Preference

That's weird. My pace pro came from coros without a rubber blister over the charging port.

COROS > Garmin

First fitness watch I owned was a first gen Amazfit Active, because I couldn't afford anything else. Got it for $80 on Amazon. Had some money burning a hole in my pocket and wanted a real fitness watch that was more reliably accurate and capable of all the training I wanted to do. Picked up a Coros

Should I upgrade to Pace Pro?

I tried to switch from 255 to pace pro but I'm going to be sending the Coros back. Its not a bad watch by any means but it's missing too many things that I like/need. For most people it's a great product but it didn't work for me so depends what you want from your watch.

Do you trust the race predictor or go with how you feel more realistic after finishing a training plan?

It’s been dead on my last two half marathons Coros pace pro

Coros support is hands down the worst customer experience I've ever had in my entire life.

Seems to be a bit of a lottery. I bought a pace pro directly through coros, it lasted for a year, now I'm stuck chatting to a bot. I really do feel scammed. Glad some folks are having a good experience, I'm super disappointed. Never getting a Coros product ever again, I'm certain my Coros dura will
