I think that the Apex 4 is a great bargain if you want and prioritize MIP. We have to be honest with ourselves too. Those who know that they want a MIP display are in for a good bargain but are in the minority. The majority of people looking for watches, as the market shows, want an AMOLED display.

For what it's worth, I just purchased a Suunto Race 2, and you do NOT need a laptop/desktop to use it. It connects to the cloud via your phone or wifi, and auto loads all data. same here, I've been told cheap nylon bands work just as well as the actual coros apex ones (which the 24mm is impossible to find and it's like 30 euros) and there are some on amazon for like 10-12 bucks
