Switch from Garmin Enduro 3 to Coros Apex 4?
Stick with the Enduro 3. You already own it, and it's one of the best watches out there, especially when it comes to navigation features. Garmin also beats Coros in trail running, hiking, and mountain biking, thanks to features like ClimbPro that Coros still lacks. While some features on the Enduro

Runners should already check Coros instead of Amazfit
TRex is also all plastic, thin metal on top is cosmetic only. I didn't mention the T-Rex, but the $1100 Fenix 8 is also steel or titanium sandwiched between a polycarbonate body. 1.2 screen is better than 1.5 screen if they show the same information You can display more information comfortably on a

GPS altitude calibration
Because I am a customer, I paid money, and I have requirements. I bought Apex 4 because it was advertised as a model with "dual-range barometer" and "enhanced vertical GPS algorithm", and the altitude data is crucial for me. So I paid extra 130 euro (compared to Nomad, which inside is the same watch

Leaving Garmin?
I switched from a Garmin Fenix 7X to a COROS Apex 4 ... Pros:- navigation/mapping almost as good as Garmin, but moving around the maps on Coros is a breeze compared to Garmin (screen redraws on Coros are insanely quick!).- simple, intuitive app- a speaker that you can actually hear (even on a busy r

Help Me Decide: Suunto Vertical 2 or Coros Apex 4
From what I understand, the apex 4 only has bredcrumbs as far as maps, you can probably get navigation, but not topography, Trails and roads. The Suunto has all of this. For this reason between these two i would choose the Suunto, i also think the problems with for example sleep tracking is going to

Garmin → Coros switch worth it?
I recently switched from Garmin to Coros. My Forerunner 955 Solar's barometric sensor / altimeter was doing whatever it wanted. I was out of warranty and Garmin offered me 25% off on MSRP in their webshop. What I wanted was accurate GPS, HR, Altimeter, good battery life, offline music and offline ma

Elevation "Phantom Gain": Is Coros planning a sensor fusion update like Garmin or Suunto?
According to Gemini, Coros don’t cross-reference a 3D map database in real time like Garmin but happy to be proven wrong if that’s the case. I can only say there are always differences between my Coros pace Pro, Applewatch and Strava data and I’ve seen a few posts reporting elevation issues (even Ap
