Runners should already check Coros instead of Amazfit
TRex is also all plastic, thin metal on top is cosmetic only. I didn't mention the T-Rex, but the $1100 Fenix 8 is also steel or titanium sandwiched between a polycarbonate body. 1.2 screen is better than 1.5 screen if they show the same information You can display more information comfortably on a

MIP lovers: what would you do when Garmin quits making MIP screen watches?
I really like the clarity of the monochrome MIP on the Instinct 1 and 3. MUCH easier to read in all light conditions compared to the Fenix, Enduro and Coros Apex 4. If they can achieve this with a colour MIP and mineral crystal glass, I’d be happy as a clam. Coros Nomad has coloured MIP plus mineral

Apex 4 is a disappointment
I think that the Apex 4 is a great bargain if you want and prioritize MIP. We have to be honest with ourselves too. Those who know that they want a MIP display are in for a good bargain but are in the minority. The majority of people looking for watches, as the market shows, want an AMOLED display.

Apex 5?
Coros used to have Apex Pro and Apex 2 Pro in their lineup, maybe they also will introduce Apex 4 Pro one day. However, I doubt that they will use AMOLED display in that model.

Help Me Decide: Suunto Vertical 2 or Coros Apex 4
I had the original COROS Apex Pro. Kept it because it worked just fine, waiting for what I “thought” was going to be Apex 3, but turned out to be the 4…. The screen clarity of the Suunto V2 just crushes the screen of the Apex 4. This matters a lot to me personally. It definitely matters less to othe

Help Me Decide: Coros Apex 4 or Suunto Vertical 2
I have both (YT reviewer) You're in a COROS sub so there will be that biases. I love COROS and I think their app and general ecosystem are better than Suunto's, but I'd still prefer the Vertical 2. It's a beast of a watch. To be honest, the Apex 4 wasn't my fav. The scree felt really dim to me. Feel

Apex 4 text enlargement
u/COROS-official PLZ PLZ PLZ add this simple feature. This is a basic accessibility feature. I was a long time Garmin user, really like the Apex 4, but returned it and went back to Garmin because I needed a magnifying glass to read my txt msgs. I know it's a sports watch, but come on this is basic.

Coros Apex 4 for Running ?
The only real issues are the switch from AMOLED to MIP and the App experience. In my opinion, the Coros App just doesn’t deliver the data quality I expect. Also, the MIP screen of Apex 4 is incredibly dull.

Garmin Instinct 4 Wish List
Sapphire lens makes it harder to see what’s on the watch face (like a Fenix) I’ve had mine side by side with a Fenix and a Coros Apex 4 and the Instinct is WAYYYYY easier to read in all lighting conditions. I’d like coloured MIP like the Coros Nomad if they could somehow keep the readability of the

What’s the Gem!!!
Unless coros fix the brightness of the amoled screen when on "standby mode" (e.g. "always on", but after a while, the screen goes from full brightness to really dim display), I doubt you'll find an amoled display which is more readable than the mips of the apex 4. (unless you live/perform in a super
