Anything better or similar to the Cotopaxi travel pack?
You want the Cor Surf bag travel bag. No I haven't tried it. Same concept, lower price. I've always liked the thought and look of the Cotopaxi. Saw someone talk about Cor Surf one night, then looked it up. Island Hopper.

Do you always wish you went with a smaller backpack? 40L seems too big and cumbersome
I travel a lot with my grown son. He’s 32, fit and 6’. He carries a 38L. His clothes are bigger, so he needs the extra space. I’m 63F, fit and 5’4”. I only need a 28L to fit the same amount of stuff in. We both love the CorSurf Island Hoppers for their flexibility. However, If I’m just going somewhe

What’s the best backpacks for travel for people who are short and hate bulky bags?
I’m 5’4” and 63yrs old. I add the age because I can’t carry as much weight as I used to. My absolute favorite travel backpack is the CorSurf 28L Island Hopper. It has an excellent laptop compartment, lots of hidey pockets, luggage pass thru, it fits under the seat in front of me with plenty of room

Looking for “personal item” travel bag recommendations.
Will you need to carry a laptop? This is your second bag, right? You mentioned connecting to suitcase. I have a COR Surf Island Hopper, which is the budget Cotopaxi 28. It has interior organization, padding for tech, my 24 oz, Hydroflask fits with its silicone boot in the pockets. It’s my only bag p

Everyday & cabin luggage unstructured recommendations
For the last 2 yrs I’ve used a CorSurf Island Hopper 28L and I’ve loved it. It’s fits under the seat and I still have room for my legs. Plus there’s a good sized top pocket for easy access to things you might need in flight. I’m flying again next week. And this time I’m taking my new bag. A NoSurren

Low-profile 35L carry-on vs typical travel backpacks (real use, not a review)
I have basically the same bag. Cor Surf Island Hopper in 28 and 34L. Used the 28L daily and for overnight business trips. Fits under the seat. Use the 34L for 2+ day trips. Really like the clam shell design.

Recommendation wanted for travel pack
I was able to fit my 40L Island hopper under the seat on Southwest a few weeks ago. Although most other domestic airlines I’ve have had to put it overhead. The water bottle pocket is pretty good size too. 40L COR Surf Island Hopper
