Fully-packed Review and Comparison: REI Ruckpack 30L vs Cor Surf Island Hopper 28L

I'd vote the Cor Surf bag! The ease in opening it flat to pack and be able to maintain organization without the added weight of packing cubes seems like a huge plus! And I am older and taller than you, so that might affect the presentation, but I think the blue Cor Surf bag is really cute!

Fully-packed Review and Comparison: REI Ruckpack 30L vs Cor Surf Island Hopper 28L

I have the same Cor Surf bag, same color too. I was very surprised at how much I could put in it. A few things to add: Pros: Two 'secret' zip pockets on the back panel. One is under the trolley pass. Unless you knew, you wouldn't know. The top zip pocket fit my liquids and hard sunglasses case. It a

What’s the best backpacks for travel for people who are short and hate bulky bags?

I’m 5’4” and 63yrs old. I add the age because I can’t carry as much weight as I used to. My absolute favorite travel backpack is the CorSurf 28L Island Hopper. It has an excellent laptop compartment, lots of hidey pockets, luggage pass thru, it fits under the seat in front of me with plenty of room

Looking for “personal item” travel bag recommendations.

Will you need to carry a laptop? This is your second bag, right? You mentioned connecting to suitcase. I have a COR Surf Island Hopper, which is the budget Cotopaxi 28. It has interior organization, padding for tech, my 24 oz, Hydroflask fits with its silicone boot in the pockets. It’s my only bag p

Everyday & cabin luggage unstructured recommendations

For the last 2 yrs I’ve used a CorSurf Island Hopper 28L and I’ve loved it. It’s fits under the seat and I still have room for my legs. Plus there’s a good sized top pocket for easy access to things you might need in flight. I’m flying again next week. And this time I’m taking my new bag. A NoSurren

Recommendation wanted for travel pack

I was able to fit my 40L Island hopper under the seat on Southwest a few weeks ago. Although most other domestic airlines I’ve have had to put it overhead. The water bottle pocket is pretty good size too. 40L COR Surf Island Hopper

I need a backpack without a computer compartment

Osprey Aoede Briefpack 22L, Cotopaxi Allpa Mini 20L, or the Eberlestock Apprentice 27L and on sale right now for 50.00, or the CorSurf 28L Island Hopper. All of these are extremely good bags and very similar to one another. Yes, they have a place for something flat, but that’s where I would put my t

Outdoor Business Backpack Recs

Check out the Island Hopper 2.0 by COR Surf. It’s a waterproof travel backpack with a laptop sleeve. It’s designed for more rugged/outdoor travel. I’ve been using mine around Seattle in the rain and keeps everything dry.

The Cor Surf Island Hopper 2.0 28L has almost all the features you are asking for. It has the laptop sleeve, folds open with multiple compartments, hidden pockets on the back panel, a hip belt you can tuck away when not using, and they have a waterproof version now too.
