Thanks man! Trust me, I had plenty of onion shaped hearts before this lol. To be honest, I’m a total newbie too, so the casabrews 5418 pro is actually the only machine I’ve ever used. I did a ton of research in this sub before finally pulling the trigger on it. I can't really give you professional a

Casabrews 5418 Pro! super easy. I’m new and still pulled decent shots right away. If your friend doesn’t wanna mess with settings, this one’s fine.

Shardor or Mokkom 64. Baratza ESP if it's $200. Delonghi ECP is great, Dedica is too. Or of course, a Bambino if it's not over budget. Otherwise, you'd only be looking at things like Casabrews, I'd go with one of their higher options like the 5418 Pro, Ultra, or Neutron Pro. Turin Legato is the same

Update in case anyone else is considering this grinder. I did get it and like it. Well made as far as I can tell. I have the CasaBrews 5418 machine. First 2 attempts were no go at grind settings of 10 and 15. Nothing came out of portafiler (which is the standard one that came with the machine.). May

casabrews 5418 pro could be worth a peek. been a decent little countertop machine in my experience. took a few tries to dial in but once it’s there it pulls respectable shots, and I can get decent microfoam with the steam wand if I take my time. pretty solid for morning espresso and milk stuff. just

I have a casabrews 5418 and a eureka grinder and I make better coffee at home than most places. Gonna use it til it dies then upgrade to a profitec but you can still get a good cup

I consider myself a nerd but I can honestly say that I can pull great shots with a Casabrews CM 5418 and a J- ultra so I would not rule it out.

FWIW, I just bought a different AMZCHEF with a prime day discount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FF9Y6JKL This is part of my first espresso setup and I don't know what I don't know, but it is at least good enough to allow me to use a bottomless portafilter with my Casabrews 5418 Pro without making a r

I burned through a whole bag of beans trying to get good results from a bottomless portafilter. I tried everything. My biggest problem was it sprayed everywhere. The pressurized basket/portafilter didn't spray and make a mess. The coffee tasted decent. Decent fake crema. Much better than the Nespres

The automatic milk frother on the Bella Pro may be an ease-of-use improvement (at least until you have to clean it), but your 5418 is a better quality espresso machine with much greater availability of aftermarket parts. You might want to consider returning the Bella Pro and getting more stuff to us
