How much would you pay for this photoshoot?
I charged my client 100/hr with editing included (2 hours). Travel time was not included and was about 1 hour total. I bought two different flashes, but couldn’t get them to work on my R50 for the life of me. From my understanding, I can either buy an adapter which is on the way or by the $400 versi

Camera suggestion under 1 lakh
Sony A6700 or zev10ii Canon r10/r50 Nikon z50ii As a professional in my opinion, if you have no experience you should go for a second hand fullframe camera. Cause you get all the features you want for the near future with out any compromises. You are set for atleast 3-5yrs. After a point you will on

Should I get this as a beginner?
Nop, a bunch of e-waste. For 500$ you can get 70D and a tamron sp 35mm 1.8, this will enable good results and lots of learning potential right away. Also take a look at nikon d5200, plus the same lens. Canon aps-c DSLRs have times better UI/UX than nikons, but nikon ones have better sensors starting

What is a good camera for mostly everyday use?
you have 2 options. buy a mirrorless (used/new) like r100 r50 or a6xxx series. but you will only be able to afford the body with kit lens. kit lens is good for beginning but it is bad in low light, fast moving subjects and portraits. it is basically a bit of everything but good for nothing. the pros

What features from older cameras do you miss the most and wish manufacturers would bring back to modern mirrorless cameras?
Bingo. Canon did the same thing with the M mount camera, basically ignoring them even as they became very popular with the digital creator crowd. The lack of lenses from Canon was a clear indication of how much they cared, and luckily a lot of 3rd party lenses picked up the slack. The Canon R50 is b

Godox v860ii/iii flash problems with sony a7iii/iv etc..
My guess: video. Flash is useless for video and a hotshoe is a convenient mounting point for video accessories like a monitor, microphone, light, or (for mirrorless cameras that didn’t have them built in back in ye olden dayes) add-on EVFs, and it’s annoying to have to cable for data connections to

Macro insects, speedlite recommendation?
The problem with the R50 is that it will natively only work with the overpriced Canon EL-x flashes. To work with third-party or earlier Canon flashes you need the AD-E1 adapter, which is usually out of stock everywhere. This said you can do macro without flashes, natural light has its merits (much p

Higher magnification with a macro lens
extension tubes are cool but a frustrating issue i ran into is if you use a digital adapter for your len, it probably won’t work right with a tube. rf mount and tubes to ef adapter and lens for example doesn’t work. Even if it could work with manual focus, the camera (canon r50 here) throws errors

Fujifilm XT-50 vs Canon R50?
The only cheap prime lens offering from Canon is 50mm F1.8, nothing from third party. 50mm is good for Full Frame but too tight for an APSC like Canon R50 if you want to do street photography.

Which is best?
Canon R10. R50 is very limiting and I found it to feel like a toy. Avoid the R100 like a plague. If you want to learn photography professionally then I can’t recommend the R50 or R100. The R7 is great, but I don’t think you want to spend that much on a body yet. After all, you still have lenses to p
