What is the best “cheap” camera for someone starting out?

I would look at a Nikon D3500, Sony a6100 or 6000, and maybe even a ZV-E10. From Canon I would look at a used T7. DSLR VS Mirrorless: Mirrorless works like a phone, you get a live feed from the sensor put onto either a back screen or a small viewfinder. DSLR uses a mirror and prism in the path of th

Ma che bella sei Torino!

grazie, ma non sono davvero niente di che :) Scatto con una modestissima Canon R100, obiettivo kit 18-45mm, appena posso lo cambio ma ora come ora sono proprio al verde 🫠

Why is it so fuzzy

With the caveat that I have never used a 4000D, a 7 year old entry level aps-c camera is likely to struggle above around 1600 ISO. I checked dpreviews studio shot comparison tool and unfortunately they don't seem to h ave the 4000D , so I compared using the newer but sorta comparable R100 ... if you

Canon EOS R100 for birds?

Dont get an eos R100 if u are going to try to use the lens kit for birding. Get a bridge camera, they have super zooms and are good for point and shoot photos of still birds in good light

Rate my rig

So my current lenses will work on their r100? Not directly. You have to get an EF -> R mount adapter. But once you have that, then any EF/EF-S lens will mount and work on a Canon EOS R mirrorless body. In the US, Canon's are about US$110-$300, depending on whether you want a control ring or to use d

Want to buy my first camera.

Canon r100 can get it for around 40k. Get rf 50mm f1.8 for around 16 -17k. I'm using it. But screen doesn't flip, not touch screen, battery has to be charged with external charger provided in the box. 4k is cropped and doesn't have dual pixel auto focus in 4k. Remember you need good lens to get good

Camera recommendations

Nikon Z fcNikon Z50iiCanon R10Canon R100 (the cheapest)For Canon kit lens 18-45 isn´t something special, Nikon has better kit lenses, but you can use prime 28mm or 50mm, or better kit lens RF-S 18-150 IS STM.

Why everyone recommends Sony a6000 but not Canon R100 ?

The a6000 is 10 years old, can be picked up second hand for an absolute steal, is still a very capable little camera, and has full access to the impressive line-up of E-mount APS-C (and full frame to be fair) glass. Nobody is pretending that it goes toe-to-toe with a modern model, but it's not expec

Lens reccs pretty please

Ha, for sure. I'm always happy to vomit out what camera knowledge that I have. I often tell my spouse that I'm a deep well of completely useless information, but occasionally that comes in handy. I'm a big fan of the M system, and really like my M6 MK II. I get WHY Canon ditched the EF and M camera
