Is this deal good?

https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/refurbished-eos-r100-rf-s18-45-is-stm-rf-s55-210-is-stm-kit I'm not a fan of the Canon R100, but it at least trounces the Rebel T7. Link above is for Canon USA Refurbished. Not a super hot discount right now but it does beat the prices you're looking at.

Nikon d3500 or Canon EOS R100?

I found both Nikon d3500 and Canon EOS R100 The Nikon D3500 is a lower-entry-level tier DSLR. If you're also interested in Canon, their lower-entry-level tier DSLR is the 2000D or 4000D. The Canon R100 is a lower-entry-level tier mirrorless. If you're also interested in Nikon, their lower-entry-leve

Canon EOS R100 Please Help Convince Me I'm not A Moron!

The Canon EOS R100 is perfectly fine for a beginner, and honestly, it’s more than enough for anyone who isn’t a professional photographer. The real issue is that you’re getting caught up in what prosumer reviewers say, which can make things seem more complicated than they really are. Honestly? I've

EOS r100 for photographing & videoing motorsports?

Not a great choice all around for fast subjects or low light or use with long lenses or if you have large hands. It would also depend a lot on the lens you put on it as different lenses have different maximum apertures (a smaller aperture=larger lens opening=more light=better), different focus motors

What is beginner and budget friendly point-and-shoot Camera?

I found two more entries, EOS R100 and 250D, both from Canon. I found one good review of R100 with pictures, I really like (out of the kit lens). So, I am really thinking about going that route. Will research more a bit and keep checking few threads, thanks.

Why do people hate EOS R100?

Wow this response is what I was looking for, thank you! I just started to take an interest in photography because my family has started to do more trips and my cellphone has been struggling with lighting issues (sunny outdoors while the object looks dark at a distance from or zoom is horrible). I in

I’ve really looked into: Canon EOS R50 Canon EOS R100 (mainly because Sam’s Club sellers this one as a large bundle) If you're willing to learn the basics of photography and want to control your shots more, the Canon R50, Sony a6000/6100 and Nikon Z50 are all great choices. I would make sure to pair
