I'm a self-taught full manual shooter. My first camera is and still only camera. I have Canon eos m50 mark ii with ef adapter. It's easy to use small, easy to carry around, just no ibis, but it's OK. My lenses are plus the ones that aren't super fast usm.

You really could buy any affordable DSLR or mirrorless camera. It’s not the camera it’s how you use it. The editing, production design, and cinematography will matter far more than the brand or price. If you’re shooting on a very low budget, aim for something around $500. Older models like the Canon

I had my IPhone 15 Pro Max & it was good & my husband took his Canon EOS M50. I was grateful as that zoom lens was far superior when it came to shooting puffins on a distant cliff or in midair. My iPhone long distance photos were poor for those shots & also in dim light.

Thank you! I used my Canon EOS M50 with a 22mm f/2.0 and 50mm f/1.8 here, with that the photos almost makes themselves. Also, very hard to take a bad photo in this pc case. As BeskarAP said, standing further away to get that compression is key, good tip!

Yeah, I am aware of that. Those are some serious cameras, for more than a hobby I think :D I was thinking more like Canon d5600 or Canon EOS M50 Mark II for starters.

I can help you with this. I started in a very similar way making short films with stop-motion using toys when I was 10, with my brother. By 12 or 13, I got into editing, and eventually he went to school for animation i went to, film school we started a small production company together. my first pie

Check out the Canon EOS M50, it’s a solid option for beginners and you can usually find it for a decent price. It’s great for filming in 4K and takes awesome photos too, perfect for your artistic process. Plus, it has a flip screen which is super handy when you need to get those angles right!

Clearly, I am so confused by all of this. All of the moms that have mirror list get much better photos than I do. The one Mom has Canon EOS M50 Mark II Digital and shoots an auto and gets clear perfect shots every time
