I would look at the Canon EOS RP, you are already using a mirrorless camera with the M50. Going back to a DSLR might feel like a bit of a downgrade in terms of focusing, with face/eye tracking etc. The 6Ds aren't light cameras ~760g, while the RP is ~490g. The RP is around £450 second hand in the UK

The Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM is a nice sharp lens. If you need a bit of extra reach, you can throw on a Canon Extender EF 1.4x II or III and take it to the equivalent of 420mm f/5.6, and you don't lose much image quality. I've used the 300mm on both my original EOS 6D and adapted to my wife's EOS

I’d go Canon EOS M50 out of that list. It’s the most “modern” feeling upgrade (best AF for people/kids, decent for street, and it’s the only one here that won’t make video feel like an afterthought). Bonus: if you already have Canon EF/EF-S lenses from the T7, you can use them with an adapter. If th

Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless Camera with 15-45mm Lens It’s so perf I love that the viewfinder moves and it is so sensitive and responsive to focus it follows me whenever I mo

Yeah, I scored the nex-3n for 20 USD because it had a broken flash, then a Viltrox speed booster for 40 USD because the seller hadn't written a good description of it.. But as far as Canon EF-M mount cameras goes the EOS m50 was such a significant leap forward in autofocus performance. I miss that c

Lots saying Sony is best because there are more lenses. I like my canon EOS m50 mark ii, which came out in 2020 and you can pick up a body for like $500 or less. It takes really nice photos. everyone says is a “dead” line because no new lenses are coming out for it. But how many lenses do we really
