Non Canon lens worth it for my Canon Eos R50?

The optical quality will be terrible (chromatic aberration, flaring, softness), and with that huge focal length and narrow aperture and no image stabilization, you will need to shoot with a tripod. These are cheap for a reason. I'd wager you'll get far better shots by using an EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6

M50 mark II is actually pretty fun

M50 mark II owner here.. I have used Canon for 2 decades, and EOS-M series since 2018. I have M2, M3, and M50 mark II. I like to take M series with me on my travels.
