Cabin Zero 28l. Fits the dimensions, UK based and many colours. Sign up for their mailing list and they'll send you a discount before you buy (you can unsubscribe after you've got your bag!).

Backpack search: EU flight CarryOn 40x25x20 cm
Cabin Zero 28L. This is the only right answer. You might get away with other bags "fitting" the sizer. For me? I personally don't like it as it is too big for me. I usually travel with the Osprey Arcane Small (it's a 10L bag, too small for most one baggers, right size for me). It's 39x27x17cm, so it

Suggestions on travel backpacks
Check cabin zero classic tech 28L. You have a laptop sleeve separated, new ones have a luggage strap (previous series did not have). It has a small water bottle pocket on one side, horizontal carry handle on the other side. You have a nice front pocket for documents and stuff. Then you have a huge m

I have had my 28l Cabin Zero for years, paired with compression cubes I‘ve never had a need for anything bigger. It really fits a lot.

I think I have had 10 bags so far and still not sure what the ideal size for travel is.
Depends on the trip, but my little Cabin Zero 28L allows me enough outfits for at least a week. ETA: I don’t normally travel with a laptop, just an iPad. Most of my trips don’t involve multiple stops either.

Bag Finder Megathread - 04 May 2026
If you are optimising for Ryanair under-seat (24L), I'd suggest considering the Cabin Zero 28 range. The classic is 39. x 29.5 x 20 cm => 22.4L, not the 28L implied by the name. Have you sense-checked the capacity required for your packing list ? (see guidance at top of page). To me, 20L (or even 24

7kg free allocation
Echoing what others said, a backpack is a better choice. You have both hands free and it sits secure on you back. Duffels are very unwieldy and impossible to run with. If you've ever had to sprint to catch a bus or train, you'll know what I'm talking about. We've gone with the CabinZero 28L, and the

My 1.6kg minimalist travel tech kit (remote office + holiday setup)
I'm fickle when it comes to bags and tried a lot 😂. The bag I come back to, but I am sick of the sight of, is an indestructible Cabin Zero Military 28l. I'd still recommend it as a great personal item bag. It doesn't look out of place as a professional laptop bag which is important to me. The bag I'

Cabin Zero bag
I have the cabin zero classic 28l and i had no trouble with it. Just this year, i have been on 7 ryanair flights (+ 2 wizzair, 1 vueling). It futs perfetly under the seat. It fits in the ryanair baggage sizer. It still fit in the sizer when it was literally filled to the brim.
