I have the breville smart grinder pro, while not nearly as good as the df54, it’s a very acceptable espresso grinder and costs like 220 cad. Do not buy pre ground, the difference is quite significant.

Gonna have to agree with the husband on getting a Grinder, however you dont need to spend $500. We have a Breville Smart Grinder Pro, its half that cost and we love it. Made a very noticeable difference in the quality of shots we are able to pull with our Breville Bambino Plus. Neither of these mach

Sub-$400USD Conical Grinder Recommendations [$400]
ESP Pro is a solid call — conical burrs, simple, and tends to handle darker/oily beans without freaking out. Also check Breville Smart Grinder Pro or used Baratza Sette if you wanna save cash; get a 54mm tamper (metal, good weight) and maybe a naked/stock portafilter upgrade for easier dosing and le

Looking for the best value I can get for a grinder and espresso machine [$700]
Breville Bambino Plus with either a Breville Smart Grinder Pro or DF54 Grinder. An absolute starter kit that leaves room to grow. If space is a concern, then Breville Barista Express Impress.

Can't choose a grinder! [$250]
I have both the Smart Grinder Pro and the Baratza Encore ESP. I started with the Breville and later got hte Baratza as a second grinder for decaf and other beans. The smart grinder pro is better. Consistency of grind is the same as the Baratza. Its quieter, quicker, has less retention and an easier

This grinder is amazing
I'll just stick with my Breville Smart Grinder Pro with single dose mod. It does a fantastic job for a lot less money.

Best home setup for $500 or less
For $500 AUD the Breville Bambino Plus is the strongest recommendation in your situation. It heats up in three seconds, has automatic milk texturing so you consistently get smooth non bitter results without needing to develop much technique, and it fits comfortably in your budget leaving room for a

Beginner Machine Recommendations [$500-1k]
Breville bambino and SGP. I wouldn’t worry about the nitpickers, I have this setup and consistently outperform any of my local shops with delicious coffee every morning. The setup is solid and can be had for relatively cheap. I’m not convinced that the incremental gains beyond this setup are worth t

I think it’s a decent grinder for that price point. There are of course better grinders out there if willing to pay mor
