Why do coffee grinders cost so much?

I put off buying a coffee grinder for so long thinking the same things. Then my wife bought me the Breville smart grinder pro for my birthday for around $200. I felt guilty at first because it’s definitely something we did not need but it’s soo worth the money if you enjoy making different types of

Which Breville to Buy? [$800 Budget]

I recently got Gemilai Ele with Mokkom Grinder it should be in your budget ball park. My reason to go with Ele over Owl were as follows. Boiler instead of Heat exchange so better temperature stability on back to back shots. OPV adjustment to set 9 bar pressure. Steam wand has built in thermometer. O

Looking into buying a new machine as a starter

As other said, r/espresso Usually the recommendation is a breville/sage bambino, and a capable grinder. Depending on what kind of coffee you drink, anything from a breville SGP (I recommend this to absolute beginners especially if they make non-espresso coffees at home bc it can always be your gener

Coffee machine recommendations newly WFH in Australia [$1500]

Looks like Myer has it for $999 but out of stock, maybe can get someone to price match? That’s probably the best price you can get it for these days. The Breville smart grinder pro is fine to start with. Depends how much you want to spend, but you can get decent grinders from baratza and eureka that

Breville Smart Grinder Pro or Fellow Opus Conical Burr [$200]

OK, so my feeling is first of all you shouldn’t be buying these through Amazon. I liked my Breville smart grinder pro. At the time, I didn’t think I was gonna upgrade if you plan to upgrade do not buy either of these go straight to a better grinder if you know what you like with beans and have a nic

Grinder around [$200] to pair with Breville Infuser for first-time casual espresso user

if you want to putts about with settings and primally work with espresso shots, then the df54 but if convenance and flexibility is a key factor, which it is for us, the Breville smart grinder pro works seamlessly with the Infusers, ours has served us well for over 10 years and can grind for anything

How many different brew methods do you use at home ?

I have a Baratza Encore ESP that I have been using for my pour over type methods and I use the Breville Smart Grinder Pro for my espresso and it works really good with my Gaggia. You would think I would use the grinders the opposite way but I don't. Maybe its because I can set the time/dose with the

In need of Coffee Machine Recommendations

I am super happy with my Breville Bambino Plus and Breville Smart Grinder Pro. The timer on the grinder and auto frothing to the right temperature every time is fantastic. Also reccomed a dosing funnel, mostly to help keep the bench clean.
