Help!!!

I had this exact thing happen when I first bought my Breville Oracle Jet. Except the fresher the beans the worse the result. Every time I went to the local coffee roaster and bought fresh beans, no matter what my settings were on the machine, it was like pure lemon juice. The ratios were perfect, th

Happy with the Oracle Jet?

Like you, I make almost exclusively lattes, and I think the Oracle Jet works perfectly for that. Given the cost of the machine the bigger question you might have is do you have the counter space to have a superior grinder and a smaller single boiler machine? The reason I ask is the biggest thing to

Espresso machine help!

I'm not willing to come out and help, but I can give a few suggestions. r/espresso often has some really helpful people, especially if you have a video of yourself pulling a shot -- they may be able to diagnose the problem. It honestly takes some time when you have a new machine -- both to get the h

Help me pick an espresso setup for my wife for Christmas [$1,500–$2,000]

The grinder is great...it is stepless and because Breville bought Baratza, the burrs have been upgraded. The Oracle Jet also uses a more robust grinding path that (in my experience) holds the settings much more accurately and should provide better durability over time.

Need setup to replace Starbucks Iced Coffee and Latte [Under $3,000]

The breville Oracle Jet might be close enough to a super auto and give you some flexibility to do your own thing. The auto grind and tamp for her, the quick heating group head for you. There’s options to make an ‘iced espresso’ that is closer to a traditional cup of coffee. How did the barista expre

Is Breville a good or bad place to start for a beginner? [$1000]

Breville is excellent and that is a good machine. For the best quality, either an upgraded integrated Breville (Oracle Jet - twice the price, extremely easy to get good results) or if you don't mind learning a bit, I really love the Bambino Plus. You need a separate grinder, but something like the B

Can’t decide between breville bambino or breville barista express

I have the Oracle Jet with the upgraded Baratza grinder and it is a very capable grinder for most use cases. I also have a DF64. Is the DF64 better? Sure, but it cost almost as much as you got the Pro for at TJ Maxx. The Pro is the sweet spot in the entire Breville espresso range IMO. I would love t

Time for an upgrade, possibly superauto? [$3000]

What about Breville Oracle Jet? It doesn’t require any warmup, you can still tinker with grinder, and espresso is way better compared to superauto (I compare to high end Siemens I had)

Unhappy with Eureka Mignon Specialità - debating Baratza Forte AP vs Niche Zero [500$]

All depends upon your taste. The Forte is noted for bringing out stronger flavors and is commercial grade. I’ve had it for years with my old manual machine that I sold. I now have the Breville Oracle Jet and have gotten used to the milder flavor that its integrated grinder produces. I did a comparis

When is it Worth Buying an Espresso Machine - Ever?

If you drink a latte running 6 a day for 5 days out of the week you're burning though 30 a week plus tips. That's 120 a month That's 1440 a year. My breville oracle touch was used and abused. I got it and fixed it up for 600. I drink a latte or two a day and have had it for over 3 years now. So with
