Happy with the Oracle Jet?
Like you, I make almost exclusively lattes, and I think the Oracle Jet works perfectly for that. Given the cost of the machine the bigger question you might have is do you have the counter space to have a superior grinder and a smaller single boiler machine? The reason I ask is the biggest thing to

Help me pick an espresso setup for my wife for Christmas [$1,500–$2,000]
You have a nice budget and for a beginner I don't think there is a nicer semi-auto machine for more consistently good drinks than the Breville Oracle Jet.

Help!!!
With the Lavazza Super Crema or the Lavazza Espresso Medium Roast, I am able to get consistent, repeatable results from the standard Breville settings, but I am also able to get the same results using those beans from my own grinder (DF64 Gen II) and doing all my own puck prep with RDT, WDT, Tamping

timed my morning routine today. 11 minutes from kitchen to first sip. about 45 seconds of that is drinking coffee
How are you liking the Meraki? How long did it take for it to need a repair? Been on the fence of getting one. Have used a Breville Oracle Jet for a few weeks and several superautos. Oracle Jet made best tasting drinks but was having issues with drinks being inconsistent. The superautos had three ki

Considering buying an Oracle Jet but is it for me? [$2000]
I'll throw my two cents in. We just bought an Oracle Jet and set it up last night. We had a Breville Barista Express, which is a good machine in its own right. I had a batch of beans in the machine that was giving me more bitter taste than usual, but I was curious if there was a difference. Holy Shi

After thinking I finally found the Holy Grail / Magic Unicorn on my 8th unit (5th Ninja 701), I give up.
The manufacturer’s like Breville & Delonghi are also forcing you into integrated tamper on their higher end machines : Breville Touch Impress, Oracle Jet & Delonghi Opera & Maestro ! What attracted to 655 was for $450 : semi automatic with 9 bar OPV & 3 way solenoid with weight based dosing with a s

Super/automatic options for older people that matches semi auto/manual cup quality? [no set budget, deciding]
Best Superautomatic De'Longhi Magnifica Plus doses at 17-18 gm, uses none pressurized brew group, true espresso capable grinder, can actually be dialed in to 20-25 sec. Best espresso from a consumer super auto when dialed in. Comes closest to semi auto. Here is a comparison with the older, slightly

Super automatic vs Sage/Breville Oracle Jet or Oracle Duel Boiler
https://youtu.be/lbKRSeO6i64?si=ATe66g0piKMwOY5S This video would convince me to get the Oracle Jet over the touch impress. These Breville machines aren't cheap but I think they're super cool. You get a lot of tech and a pretty good experience. I didn't watch this video but is also worth looking. ht

Can a fully automatic machine actually be good?
I’ve encountered refrigerator sized super autos in Europe, usually Lavazza branded, that make a damn solid cappuccino. I imagine those are pricey. Home super autos… never found a good one. The new Breville Oracle Jet is about as close as it gets thus far.

Need setup to replace Starbucks Iced Coffee and Latte [Under $3,000]
The breville Oracle Jet might be close enough to a super auto and give you some flexibility to do your own thing. The auto grind and tamp for her, the quick heating group head for you. There’s options to make an ‘iced espresso’ that is closer to a traditional cup of coffee. How did the barista expre
