Why is my shot squirting? [Breville Barista Pro]

The things others here are saying (puck prep, grinder, etc.) are certainly applicable, but a lesser known factor is pressure. A lot of Breville machines (aside from the Dual Boiler) have an issue where the pressure hitting the puck is far, far higher than the claimed 9 bar figure. The over-pressure

Convince me not to get the Cafelat Robot! [$500]

I have a breville dual boiler, however I haven't used it since I got the Robot... I initially got it as a fun toy, but since it's easier to use + tastes better, I stopped using my actually expensive machine for espresso. I still use it for steaming milk occasionally, but the Robot is just that good.

Breville Bambino mods

Save up more for a Breville Dual Boiler, Lelit Elizabeth, Silvia Pro X, or Profitec Move. This is what it is going to take to solve your problems.

Beginner setup [3000€]

On our espresso journey, we started with Keurig and Nespresso. We thought we really liked coffee so we bought the (very expensive) Breville Oracle, all in one machine - especially so my wife could use its automated features, as she wanted "a coffee, not a project". I really like the idea of the mach

How much of an upgrade is a Profitec Go or Rancilio Silvia over a Bambino? Other best options in this price range? [$1200]

My Breville Dual Boiler had an incident recently (seal leak and much sadness ensued) so I pulled out my old Breville Infuser (essentially the precursor to Bambino Pro). The quality of the espresso is identical. Lots of bells and whistles are different but the coffee is the same. (I'm a black coffee

To the next level Delonghi -> ???Meraki??? [$4,000]

BDB is in a totally different (and better) class than Breville's Barista and Oracle series machines. Make sure you get the OG model, not the new one with a built-in grinder.

I'm in need of a new coffee machine!

I've owned 2x Barista Express machines (still have one) and 1x Breville Dual Boiler. The Dual Boiler was significantly better to use than the Express but unreliable. It completely broke down twice, and the repair cost was going to be higher than a new Barista Express so I sold it for parts and bough

Lelit Bianca - What is your workflow

It arrived dented breville told me to use it for a few weeks and offered a discount if I wanted to keep it. I found value proposition that made the v1 popular significantly change for the v2. I ended up getting a smaller dual boiler which I wouldn't recommend per say but the espresso was the same.

Should I upgrade? [$1,100]

Like i said, the niche is a sidegrade over the integrated grinder. It's weak at light roasts and fine grinds, and accordingly to a commenter here, coarse grinds as well. It's a fantastic bit of kit for dark roasts, and moka, and french press, yeah, but that's about it ... Once you want medium light
