B and O H100 - 2 failed promises in 2025 - Shocking Company
The difference is, B&W didn't lie to their customers to increase the sales volume and trick people into their product. B&O hasn't been honest with the H100 since day 1. Yes that's right, the Px8 S2s don't support LDAC but do support AptX Lossless which is far better than both LDAC and B&O's only sup

Unexpected impulse purchase: HDB 630
I probably would’ve gone with the B&W PX8 S2 for Bluetooth lossless. Your phone also must support aptX Lossless to be able to use it with headphones. Not so many phones support it, especially among the more popular lines. All other codecs are on par with what the HDB 630 provides without a dongle (B

Px8 first impression - questions
Nah, definitely not age – I’m 55+ and have tinnitus. AAC + Spotify is like a double strike. Apple Music with Apple Lossless enabled will help with playback quality and listening wired, lighting to 3.5mm TRS, with provide you the best sound quality at the expense of being tethered. I own one too many

My take on PX8 S2 vs Focal Bathys MG, B&O H100, Dali IO-12 + EQ Fix!
Yeah, B&W seems to have that 'warm tuning' that results in muddled bass in music like Gojira and harder rock / metal. I've largely found the EQ settings I shared help with that. I loved both H100 and IO-12's but one is too expensive and the other too impractical. My wired Beyerdynamics DT990 Pro I u

Getting lost in the codec and DAC discussion
If someone has a better answer please fill in but to my understanding: If you’re on an iPhone 13 mini + Tidal, the codec stuff (AAC, aptX, etc.) doesn’t really matter — iPhones only do AAC over Bluetooth, and both PX7 S3 and PX8 handle that fine. Sound quality differences you’ll notice are more abou

Aldiginiz en pahali kulaklik?
B&W PX8 almıştım bir buçuk sene önce. Memnunum. Özellikle kablolu kullanımda temiz ve detaylı bir ses veriyor.

Is there a fix? Px8 S2
Apparently it is replaceable but B&W recommends a professional job doing it. Sadly, they downgraded from the OG Px8 that had user-removable/replaceable earpads that were a bit thicker. But overall, these are much better headphones than OG Px8, try the Px8 S2 using a USB cable from your device if you

upgrading from PX7 S2 to PX8
What I like about the B&W is that they’re flexible: I can use them wirelessly when I’m moving around the house, and wired when I sit down to actually focus on music. It’s honestly surprising how nice they sound wired, even though they supposedly have a built-in DAC. But my PX7 S2 cost me about $110,

Px8 Weird Static Noise?
I ended up sending them back to B&W under warranty because they were brand new. They told me that it was a faulty driver and instead of fixing the pair I sent in they sent me a completely new pair. I received the new pair of PX8's and then about a month in my USB port started to malfunction and effe

PX8 or PX8 S2
I own XM6 and PX8 S2. The difference in sound is huge. XM6 sounds best from the box and every time you try to use EQ the overall sound is lowered. Never understood the reasoning for that. My only guess is that Sony squeezed everything they could for mainstream public who doesn’t want to dive into th
