PX7 S3 (£284) vs PX8 S2 (£504)
I owned both sets and kept the PX7 S3. The ANC in the PX8 S2 certainly isn’t terrible and is roughly on par with the HDB 630s; but the tangible improvement to ANC and transparency that the PX7 S3 brings to the table compared to the marginal improvement in sound quality the PX8 S2 provides made the P

Sennheiser momentum 4 vs Bose Quietcomfort vs Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2e?
Ruling out ANC, on sound quality alone: Momentum 4 > B&W PX7 S2e > Bose QC Considering ANC: Bose QC > Momentum 4 ~= B&W PX7 S2e The Momentum will also have much better customization options when it comes to EQ, offering both a 5-band EQ and Sound Personalization, which is a pretty powerful little to

What’s the next step after Maxwell?
I was not as impressed with the PX8 S2; I tested both them and the PX7 S3 side by side and ended up going with the PX7 S3 instead. Very similar sound quality, but the PX8 S2 takes a major hit to ANC and transparency performance. I’ve actually discussed this on the B&W sub a few times. The PX8 S2 is

What headphones to buy in 2026?
I have owned more of the high end headphones in this segment, so if you want to know here is my quick take:Airpods max 2 - great sound quality but nothing stands out, excellent noise cancellation, clamping force is huge for big heads and was the main reason i returned them. B&W PX8 S2 - Excellent so

Review of the Px8 s2.
That’s fair. When you’re out and about the ANC is acceptable? I’m choosing b/w the px8 s2’s and APM 2. I travel a lot so concerned that px8 ANC won’t be enough.

Took the £630 leap and bought the px8 s2!
I'm still using the Bose quietcomfort ultra 2, and the Bowers and Wilkins PX8 S2 are still in thier box. My Hidizs mp143 IEMs sound better than both, but the Bose ANC beats the Bowers hands down. I prefer the sound on the Bose too. OK, I prefer the sound of planar magnetic headphones or iems if I'm

Bought Bose QC Ultra..Genuinely so disappointed with anc, dud or is this as good as it gets?
I have the Bose quietcomfort ultra 2, and they are the only headphones that almost cope with the London underground. In the office, they give me near silence. The closest I have are the Sony xm5. The Bowers and Wilkins PX8 S2 are the most disappointing, Edifier, earfun, and even buds do a better job

Px8 s2 Connectivity Issue
Just wanted to reply and say thank you for saving my sanity. I've been suffering the same and confirm it appears more often when I'm out using the device and worse in congested areas. I further suffer an issue when ANC is turned on. Sometimes, not always, the sound when ANC is turned on will dip whe

PX7 S3 VS PX8 S2
I don't get the hype behind the Px7 S3 and the Px8 S2 on this reddit, and websites that seem to be paid off to push the Px7 S3 and Px8 S2 as the greatest sounding headphones. I finally tested both of them and I consider them a deviation from the signature sound Bowers and Wilkins should deliver: the

What are the best sounding, highest fidelity, bluetooth headphones?
The best ANC headphones I've tested, in order of fidelity/resolution: Focal Bathys MG, Dali IO-12, Focal Bathys, Mark Levinson 5909, B&W PX8 S2 & PX7 S3, and the Sennheiser HDB 630. If you're solely chasing sound quality, any one of these sets will fit the bill, with most simply taking a different a
