More specs and price details leak for Sony's new luxury 1000X headphones, ahead of expected May launch date
For $850 CAD it should have genuine leather. They keep mentioning the AirPods Max 2 but they aren’t mentioning the bowers & Wilkins px8 s2 or the px7 s3 which are right up there with sound quality and materials..

Bought px8 s2… wow!!
I’m thoroughly enjoying the PX8 S2. It’s the best headphone in the B&W range I’ve ever tried. Enjoy. Cheers.

Bose ultra Gen 2
For comparison I have the Sony Xm5, Bowers and Wilkins PX8 S2, and the Bose quietcomfort ultra 2, and I would choose the Bose over the other 2 for sound and ANC. The only issue I have with the Bose is the weak clamping force, as it creates whooshing sounds when you walk. The Auto on feature is great

Should I get a Px8 S2 for bday?
So I got a pair of Px8 S2 last month for my early birthday present, and I really, really enjoy them. A few points to be aware of though: At the sub-$1,000 price range, you can't have both best ANC AND best possible sound quality imo. I also have the XM6s and they have fantastic ANC (but meh sound),

Convince me *not* to buy the px7s3
I love B&W's headphones. Got the px7 s2 and px8 s2 You can't beat the build quality. They're lower profile and comfy as hell, super fun to listen to, and the ANC keeps engine noise out. I have no complaints, other than that I wish they sounded like the Focal Bathys Bose has ok sound. Wouldn't call i

Apple Airpods Max vs B&W PX8 S2 for an iPhone user
I have both. It is my experience that in use with 3 devices, they have very similar device switching performance. I know that’s not your question, but I’m just getting that out of the way. For your question: In the end, I really like both, but I think the Px8 S2 are more comfortable, and sound sligh

Should I or should I not?
If it means anything, I have the Bowers and Wilkins PX8 S2, and the Bose quietcomfort ultra 2, and the latter are better in both the sound and ANC department. The Bowers have better build quality. If I were to be taking a flight, the Bose would be coming with me

Is the Px8 S2 worth the extra money over AirPods Max?
What you smoking the AirPods Max doesn’t even compare to the Px8 s2 in terms of sound quality. Not to mention the durability of the Bowers and Wilkins you feel quality on your head unlike apple.

My Take on B&W Px8 vs Px8 S2 - A Professional Musician’s Perspective
Thanks for the detailed review. I am in the market for a good pair of headphones. Currently own an old Bose model (QC 35ii), which has served me well over the years - but feel that I deserve an upgrade. I was deciding between Bose UltraComfort Gen 2, Sony XM6, and one of the B&Ws. I have tested the

My first time
I tried to make this point one time on Reddit…and got, of course, ripped to shreds. I’ve actually performed those tests. Double blind studies where we tested different bit rates, sampling, etc. There is a very small percentage of people who can hear the difference, particularly in A|B testing, when
