I have two BOSE SoundLink Flex Gen 2 - they pair easily with the hardware buttons but only in PARTY LINK mode. Both on the latest firmware, v8 as of May 2026. The app doesn’t help.

In May 2026 on latest v8 firmware my BOSE SoundLink Flex (Gen 2) and (Gen 2 SE) refuse to connect in Stereo Mode but they do connect in Link/Party Mono mode. Pairing Bose soundlink flex with flex SE?
In May 2026 the Bose SoundLink Flex Gen 2 won’t pair in Stereo Mode for me - one is a Gen 2 and the other a Gen 2 SE. They will link fine in Party/Mono mode. Tried both the app and shortcut buttons.
