QuietComfort Ultra

I’ve had the gen 1 QC earbuds since early 2021 and the QC Ultra headphones caught my interest a few months back especially since I’ve been traveling more in recent years. Decided to buy one late July as a gift for myself from a local distributor but the unit was defective so decided not to get a rep

I’ve recently purchased and tested both the XM6 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2, and here is my brief review:

1. Sound Quality: Slight edge to the QC Ultra 2, sound feels slightly fuller with a slightly wider soundstage, even after EQ on the XM6. Again, the difference is slight, and hard to notice.

2. ANC

My daughter wears headphones all the time. Loves it for music, phone connection, computer, etc. She is in college and had a cheaper set. I got her Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra for Christmas. Buying the smart transmitter was my best decision. Now instead of buying the pulse elites to go wireless. I get to use my Bose Quietcomfort Ultras and the sound is so good. Happy Portaling everyone!

While I appreciate the nuance you're trying to add, I couldn't disagree with you more on the Bose quiet comfort ultras not being better in every possible way compared to airpods. It is literally the best sounding and most comfortable headset I've owned with fantastic range/battery. Which makes sense

Thought this might help some potential buyers. I tend to look for different things in wireless headphones than most people.

Amazing. Absolutely no complaints. Will review after longer listening sessions. These are probably the most comfortable headphones I've worn.

My ears stick out quite

The Bose QuietComfort Buds. They can pair simultaneously with my Mac and my phones so I can switch between them. I use my QuietComfort Ultra Headset the most though since I’m always on a plane for the superior ANC.
