Bose QC Ultras are top shelf noise cancelling headphones. Maybe best ANC on the market. I don't think anyone has legs to stand on to say anything different. You did well by your daughter, those are an excellent gift. (I use Senheiser Momentum 4s and don't own any Bose products)
