QuietComfort 35 II

The correct answer is NO. I tried Bose QC 35 ii and it just turns off when you plugin a cable in AUX. The over the ear does provide a lot of noice cancelling it's just not active.

I never updated the firmware of my QC 35 II and they still work great! I think there was also an update back then that made the sound and ANC crappy... Planned obsolescence. Shame on Bose.

I have a set of Bose QC35/II wireless headphones and they are by far the worst sounding set that I own. The noise cancellation absolutely makes up for them when making phone calls in the office or catching a flight.

ANC is good enough. I haven't tried the XM6's ANC, I have tried a demo model of the QC Ultras. The QC is definitely better but the PX8s are still good. Headphones I'm using are bose qc 35ii. I tried the guidelines for resetting them but they don't work. A guide and a thread suggest that it's a hardware thing which I may or may not be willing to do. Got the Bose QC one and I am disappointed as well as the it does not block the wind noise even if I switched it ON. So when I m speaking it gives a big swoosh on the other end. Is anyone experiencing the same? I was the using the older version QC 35 ii which was much better.

I own the Bose QC35 ii and in eat Samsung Galaxy buds. Galaxy buds have way better noise cancellation and way fewer Bluetooth connectivity problems. I have the former to my wife. In ear headphones are also much easier to have on me for all trips.
