I promise I looked into the wiki first. It didn't quite have the answers I was looking for, so I need some recommendations from the collective, experienced brain of r/flying. Hopefully this thread will be useful for other people, too.
In a few months, I'll be transitioning in my caree

New Updated A20 Aviation Headset?
Anyone have any info or rumor on when Bose will release a new replacement for A20 headset? Hopefully a little sleeker and lighter even though it’s a great headset now I think could be improved after 11 years on the market.

Online Gaming Story 5
I’m an audiophile, always have been, always will be. I also play a fair amount of online video games too, ones where it’s pretty crucial to have clean, crisp audio. In games where you’re reliant on hearing other player’s footsteps, having that kind of audio quality gives you a real edge over other p

FT-60 options for stereo “smartphone” headphone/mic and external PTT?
Here’s the deal: I want to find some way to connect my Yaesu FT-60 handheld’s apparently crazy nonstandard combined Sp/Mic socket to the “typical” 4-conductor iPhone/smartphone TRRS jack found in most normal consumer electronics. Well played ESL!!
Just noticed this on the ESL stream that they're using aviation grade noise cancelling headphones. Holy shit. These bad boys cost over a 1000$. This is probably the best noise cancelling headphone on the market. Props to these guys!!

Possible Bose A20 discount
I'm in the market for a Bose A20 and after you add the item to cart on the Bose website, there's a discount for first responders, medical providers, nurses, students, teachers, military. You just need to verify through ID.me, so I'm wondering if anyone here has tried this and if so, how much of a di
