disagree, you can absolutely very quickly reach the limits of the current highest tier SoCs with the best Boox offers. Multi-tasking with TUCP, TabXC is sluggish at best. Yes eink is slow, but that's not an excuse for low ram and slow processor.

I own a Paperlike 103 and I find the ghosting is minimal for 2D cartoons, but darker live action footage can have some evident ghosting that I occasionally clear, or ignore until it goes away on its own. https://streamable.com/0y8ada The size isn't going to be what you're looking for, but in terms of responsiveness, that's a Boox tab xc (probably in one of the faster modes instead of my preference of regal?). It's fast enough, but annoying to do regularly.
